Q: Is the Community Center still available to rent for public or private events?
A: The community room is available to rent for $60.00 for half the room and $100.00 for the entire room. The kitchen is available for either rental amount. There is a $100.00 refundable deposit required for both. If you are a non-profit or charity based group there is a $100.00 deposit required for use.

Q: Where will voting be held?
A: Voting will be held at City Hall located at 612 Front Street. This applies to all primary and general elections.
Q: Is there a drop off box available for utility payments?
A: Yes, a drop box is located on the left side of the front entryway of City Hall. The outside front doors are unlocked for convenient access to the drop box.
Q: When is a building permit required?
A: A building permit is required whenever you are changing the foot print of your home or yard. For example, to add an addition, add outbuildings, erect a fence, or build a deck or patio.
A permit is not required to roof, side, or replace windows.
Q: Is the City Bus available for public use?
A: As of January 6, 2015 the fees for use of the City Bus are as follows:
Under 100 miles
$20 fee plus mileage
Over 100 miles
$.535 cents per mile
As of May 2014, the bus is no longer available to residents who reside outside of the Henning 56551 zip code.
