The City of Henning has tax incentives for new or renovated housing in the community!
Tax incentive value up to $10,000!

Otter Tail County (OTC) launched “The Big Build” in 2020 with the goal to encourage the construction of new primary residence single and two-family housing units and to encourage replacement of dilapidated housing .  Along with The Big Build, OTC approved a “New Build Tax Rebate Program.” This program has OTC tax incentive opportunities up to $5,000 for new primary residence single and two-family housing units or replacement of dilapidated housing structures. The tax rebate program timeline is January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2022.

In cooperation with Otter Tail County, Henning’s City Council moved forward with a local tax incentive program matching OTC’s $5,000 for new primary residence single and two-family housing units or replacement of dilapidated housing structures.
